Creativity has always been a big part of my life, starting with endless doodles and sketches as a kid. Even though I had doubts about an artistic career, I’ve always dreamed of turning my creativity into a job.
Growing up in Spokane, my artistic journey began at Ferris High School. I started with art classes but quickly fell in love with visual storytelling through photography. Editing and designing photos became my thing, and with my teacher’s encouragement, I joined the yearbook team and took AP photography.
Spending hours in Photoshop and designing layouts made me realize how much I loved graphic design, which led me to SFCC’s Graphic Design program. I built a solid foundation in digital design and got involved in the design community by joining the Graphic Design club, eventually becoming the program coordinator and historian.
When I’m not designing, I’m outdoors. Snowboarding, longboarding, hiking, camping, and fishing keep me refreshed and inspired.
Looking back, my journey has always been driven by a love for creativity. Moving forward, I’m excited to keep exploring new paths in graphic design and bringing ideas to life through visual expression.
